We are recruiting: structural MIG welder (Pennsylvania)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances The role involves check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
