Bakery assistant — Linn County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Linn County, Iowa. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Your main tasks: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Meals and transport allowance provided.
