We are recruiting: we are hiring a press machine operator in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. The role involves feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
