Lift erector wanted in LaPorte County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift erector in LaPorte County, Indiana. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
