Gas pipe fitter — Haskell County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Haskell County, Texas. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. On a typical shift you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites We offer $200 per day plus benefits.
