Power float operator — Lubbock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Lubbock County, Texas. You will work on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Six days a week, one day off.
