Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Owerri Municipal, Imo State. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
