Immediate opening: we are hiring a building site helper in Lee County, Alabama. The job is on a road and bridge project. You will backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Six days a week, one day off.
