Tile mason — Haakon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile mason in Haakon County, South Dakota. The job is at a bathroom renovation job. Day-to-day duties: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away Ideal candidate: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation 1+ years on the tools preferred.
