Now hiring: overlocker operator (Wisconsin)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
