Gas service engineer — Lubbock County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Lubbock County, Texas. On a typical shift you will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 3+ years on the tools preferred. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
