Immediate opening: we are hiring a line cook in Jasper County, Illinois. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
