Lathe operator — Crawford County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Crawford County, Michigan. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Day to day you will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift. Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
