Falsework carpenter wanted in Brookings County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Brookings County, South Dakota. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules On the job you will handle: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour Performance bonus on top of base pay.
