Great opportunity: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Morgan County, Ohio. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
