We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Madison County, Indiana. The job is in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts The role involves: • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
