Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Loup County, Nebraska. The job is on a road and bridge project. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
