Tiling assistant — Mariposa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Mariposa County, California. You will be based in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Requirements: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines The role involves: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls Six days a week, one day off.
