Bricklayer wanted in McMullen County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in McMullen County, Texas. You will be based at a residential building site. On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks 4+ years on the tools preferred.
