Vacancy available: we are hiring a presser in Montgomery County, Virginia. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; give each garment a final press before packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
