Foundry worker — Tillman County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Tillman County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $8,500 per project, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
