Now hiring: we are hiring a chiller technician in Wayne County, Indiana. You will work at a supermarket cold-chain site. Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold On the job you will handle: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Performance bonus on top of base pay.
