Quality control inspector — Northumberland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Northumberland County, Virginia. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits The role involves log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
