Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Knox County, Indiana. The job is on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
