Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Wayne County, Iowa. Day to day you will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Rotating shifts.
