Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day to day you will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; load and index turning tools in the turret; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed.
