Plastering hand — Floyd County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plastering hand in Floyd County, Iowa. You will clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming. You should have: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
