Vacancy available: brick mason (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Callahan County, Texas. You will work on a new-build development. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
