Construction helper wanted in Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction helper in Jackson County, North Carolina. You will work on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Your main tasks: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns 3+ years on the tools preferred.
