Brick and block layer — Gilmer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Gilmer County, Georgia. The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
