Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Jackson County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown The role involves: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Part-time with flexible hours.
