Punch press operator — Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Washington County, Oregon. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Day-to-day duties: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
