Oven operator — Gulf County

Join our team: we are hiring an oven operator in Gulf County, Florida. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. On a typical shift you will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Six days a week, one day off.
