VMC operator • Hyde County, South Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Hyde County, South Dakota. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Day to day you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
