Garment machinist — McDuffie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in McDuffie County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
