Cold store insulation technician — Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Jefferson County, Idaho. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. Day-to-day duties: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings You should have: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
