Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in White County, Tennessee. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Day-to-day duties: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
