Fabricator-welder — Audrain County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Audrain County, Missouri. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
