Foundry worker wanted in Greene County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Greene County, Alabama. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
