We are recruiting: brickwork mason (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Wichita County, Kansas. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Day to day you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
