Immediate opening: gas meter installer (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Portsmouth, England. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion You will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £2,400 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
