Horizontal milling machine operator • Taos County, New Mexico

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Taos County, New Mexico. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 4+ years on the tools preferred.
