The role involves: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Requirements: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
