Immediate opening: ironing operator (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Hood County, Texas. The job is in a busy laundry. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts.
