Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Trafford, England. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Pay around £3,700 per project, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
