Machine operator (earthworks) • Gosper County, Nebraska

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Gosper County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
