Brick mason — Haskell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Haskell County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day You will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder.
