Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Orange County, Vermont. The job is at a busy production line. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
