Immediate opening: scaffolding charge hand (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Rockdale County, Georgia. You will work at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage. What we are looking for: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
