MIG/MAG welder — Henderson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Henderson County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $10,750 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
